Enjoy a social, gentle-paced game open to all fitness levels — no running, no pressure.
Our mixed group is open to all, and we have a women-only group too.
Come by yourself or with friends to get moving and have fun!

Mixed Walking Netball
This is a new group which we aim to start in October 2026. We plan to have a weekly one-hour session at 10 - 11 am on Thursdays.
We are currently sorting out the details with the team at Penrith Leisure Centre - please watch this space for updates, or drop us a note using the contact form so that we can keep you informed.
Women's Walking Netball
This is an established group which meets at 1.30 - 3.00 pm on Mondays. More information can be found on Facebook, from Maureen on 07568 438588, or contact us using the form below.

Walking Netball offers a unique and enjoyable way to stay active and social at the local leisure centre in Penrith. Our sessions are designed to make netball accessible to everyone, with a gentler pace that eliminates running and high intensity. Whether you are a seasoned netball player or new to the sport, our welcoming environment invites you to join in, have fun, and improve your fitness without pressure.
Inclusive Groups for Everyone
We have two distinct groups to cater to different preferences: a mixed group and a women-only group. Both aim to provide a relaxed and sociable atmosphere where participants of all fitness levels can engage in the game comfortably. The social aspect of Walking Netball is just as important as the physical, fostering community connections and friendships while enjoying the sport.
